So the other day I overheard a conversation in the Tinkering Ink office… someone was asking what to do with the Rip Strips… What to do with the Rip Strips?  Really?  I feel like the possibilities are endless…  So I decided to answer the question… above is what I did with the Rip Strips in about 15 minutes.

Here is a little diddy I learned from my cute friend Sarah who owns Scenic Route... If you put a rub-on transfer on a paper project and you don't like where it is or you want to remove it... simply take a piece of scotch tape and lightly press it on ...

Here is a little trick I figured out while making the above lay-out for an autumn leaves/creativity inc.  Archiver's class. 

If you are using an acrylic stamp on your project and you want to only ink part of the stamp, keep some Q-TIPS close by.  Ink the entire stamp evenly and then take off what you don't want ...

Wow last night I got to sit down, uninterrupted and scrap!  Just scrap!  I made three layouts and it was so much fun!  I had forgotten how much I really love it!  Even though it was midnight and I was dog tired... I enjoyed every single minute of it!  I must say that my Tim Holtz; Tonic shears are wonderful!  Who could ask for more than self-sharpening, non-stick fabulous shears!

Tinkering Tip: Paper Blocking

Check out this amazing layout by one of our DT members, Michelle StClair.  She uses blocks of patterned paper from our BELOVED line to create a very anchored layout, but adds a touch of whimsy with the sideways title and her use of a rounded tag.

I just love this layout and it would be a fabulous way to use up your scraps since the largest whole piece is around 5 inches square.  Try out this fun ...


Tinkering Tip: X-acto Excellence

One of the things I love about Tinkering Ink papers are their bold and graphic designs.  But some scrappers ask us how to use these large prints for their scrapping.  Well, here's a perfect example of how easy and striking scrapping can be.  This page, by Pam Callaghan, was a breeze thanks to a large T.I. print and an x-acto knife.
