For Freebie Friday I am giving away Yuletide collection, Classic Holiday stamp set and Peek-a-boo Pieces. Leave a comment on this post and we will pick a winner. Have a great weekend!

Peek-a-boo mini
Posted on November 6, 2008 at 1 a.m.
Happy Thursday. Today I am going to share a mini album I made using Peek-a-boo pieces. It’s a mixture of chipboard and acrylic shapes.
The photos are from our trip to Arizona in September. This was Alex’s first road trip.
First I picked the shapes I wanted to use in my album. I use Adobe Photoshop to resize and print my photos according to the size of each piece. After that, I did a little planning on how I wanted each page to look. I kept the embellishments simple because I think the photos are really cute. I sanded all the edges to give the photos and paper a finished look.
I used Meadow, Trellis and Papillon patterned paper from Beau Jardin collection.
I added Transfers to some of the pages: Peek-a-boo, Beau Jardin and Reflection.

Well, I hope you like it.
Tomorrow is Friday and I will be giving away some awesome Tinkering Ink goodies. See you then.
Snowflakes

I love snowflakes and when I got the Classic Holiday stamp set I was really excited.
For this card I stamped the snowflake with white craft ink. I stamped and cut out one of the snowflakes and added glitter while the ink was still wet. I used pop dots for some dimension. The patterned paper is from Yuletide collection.

Here is a tag set that I created using the same Classic Holiday stamp set and Yuletide paper collection. The tags are from an office supply store. I want to use these on my gifts this year. I die cut the snowflake, covered it with stamp glue and applied glitter.
Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving all the wonderful comments.
I will be back tomorrow.

Simple and easy

I'm so excited to be the TI blogger this week! The hardest part was trying to decide what to post each day.
I decided that I will start with simple and easy card set. This is a perfect little gift for someone. I have made several of these lately and I found that mass production is the key.
I gather all my supplies first. I typically use blank greeting cards (white or ivory) that I get at a craft store when they are on sale. They come with envelopes. I cut the strips of paper, get my ink and stamps ready.
For this project I used Evelyn patterned paper from Retro Metro collection, and Spring Stamp Set.

I start by adhering the strips of patterned paper to all my cards (10 in this set). I use my first card as a guide where to adhere the strip on the next card so that they all look even. It doesn’t have to be perfect, they are one of a kind.
After that I start stamping my images. I stamp the flourish on all the cards, then the flowers and the bird last. This way you are dealing with one stamp and ink pad at a time and it goes really fast. I stamp my sentiment last.

After that all you have to do is package your gift. I used some fabric scraps to match and stamped another flourish from the Spring Stamp Set on the tag. I will be putting this in a little white gift bag with green, yellow and purple tissue paper.

What do you think? I hope you enjoyed this little “tutorial”. I will be back tomorrow with snowflakes!
