Butterflies
Traditionally butterflies are pretty and many people want them as mere decoration. In a deeper sense butterflies represent rebirth or transformation from the caterpillar to the beautiful butterfly.
For my son's birthday, we purchased him a butterfly garden kit from the toy store. What a beautiful gift this was! The company mailed us 5 caterpillars that all turned into butterflies within 2 weeks. Andrew loved watching this transformation. He also loved setting the butterflies free.
